Our Stadium sponsor, American Express®, signed a multi-year naming rights agreement for the new stadium in June 2010, when the arena officially became known as the American Express Community Stadium.
 
Together we share a collaborative vision which extends far beyond the physical stadium itself; our mission is to work in partnership to harness this impressive platform in order to engage, support and positively impact the broader Sussex community.  
 
Our partnership underscores American Express' good citizenship programme in the area.  As the largest private employer in Sussex, with its European headquarters in Edward Street, Brighton, the financial services company has a longstanding heritage of providing local philanthropic support for almost 40 years which includes a diverse range of community initiatives, many of which involve its large employee base.
 
As well as the Albion, the American Express Community Stadium will be home to the award-winning charitable arm of the football club, Albion in the Community (AITC).  In addition to being the stadium's title sponsor, American Express has also entered into a ground-breaking community partnership with AITC and, with the support of employee volunteers, will help deliver the charity's invaluable work across the county and further afield, in areas such as education, sports development, social inclusion, disability activities, health and community relations.
